Protocol Snack

I know Brooke uses a two-meals and no snacks protocol. I tried something very similar to what she does and didn’t love it. I feel better having the option of a snack, in case I need to work late or just want it. Is this me giving myself a security blanket? It probably is. But it seems to make me much more able to stay on protocol if there is a snack written in, even if I don’t eat it. (I eat it about 50% of the time.) If it is working, do you think I should stick with it? Or is this me giving myself the option to buffer–even if I only take it half the time?
