I am practising developing the emotion of pride. I want to feel proud of myself but my default is always to look to my actions to provide this not my thoughts. When I get stuck in not liking myself or seeing myself as a problem, I notice I automatically start working on the action line not the thought line.
How can I shift to working on thoughts which develop this emotion rather than actions. For me, feeling proud of myself has been tied to what I do or don’t do for so long. I’m trying to work out how to connect feeling proud of myself to something I generate with my thoughts instead.
