Providing value to future clients.


Hi! I just listened to the recording of the entrepreneur call. AMAZING!

I am a photographer doing only dog photography. Love it. Is a very specific niche and my goal is to create brand awareness to my target audience. You talk about providing value beforehand. One of the things I am doing is going to dog events as a vendor. Here I take 1 portrait of a dog and give my card to the owner along with the image number. Once they contact me they get a free digital download of said portrait and I grow my email list. I would like to know your thoughts in terms of this strategy of providing value to future clients as well as anything you would add/change for these events. I do, of course tell them about my business, social media and offer gift certificates or prepaid sessions they can purchase during the event.
