Hi – I have an exam that I need to study for. I’ve allocated time on my calendar for studying, but when the time comes I’m not following through. My mind immediately predicts what will happen.
C – Upcoming Exam
T – There is no point in studying, because I’m going to fail.
F – Apathy and Fear
A – I do other things on my checklist that aren’t as high of a priority. I shop online and sleep more. Essentially, I do anything else but study.
R – I fail the test.
I’m not sure if I need to sit in the “emotion” longer or move one and try to change the thought. I’m having a really hard time finding new thoughts that would help me feel driven, focused, and powerful.
