Question about January 2020 homework


I’ve been diligently doing the homework from this month’s lesson, writing down all my thoughts about myself, my life, etc. each day. As expected, most of them are quite negative. 😉 I’m assuming that we are supposed to then create new thoughts that are positive in response to these? That part’s not mentioned anywhere in the book (that I could find) or in Brooke’s video. (I feel silly asking this, but want to be sure I’m doing this correctly). Would I simply design a new model for each negative thought, with a positive one to counteract it? Thanks.
