Question about life coaching for people impacted by trauma

My question is related to how life coaching does (or doesn’t) apply to someone who has suffered through trauma. I know that life coaching isn’t therapy, and there is a space for both things; but would someone who has been through a trauma (a Circumstance) and who is having Thoughts about that trauma which are affecting their Actions still benefit from coaching? I want to believe that the Model can work on all issues anyone is facing, but I keep thinking of scenarios such as systemic racism, childhood abuse, or other traumas which someone may go to therapy to seek support for –  but may still influence their thinking, and therefore the results in their lives. Can coaching help with these types of issues?
