Whenever I coach others (and sometimes myself) I struggle to get actions from feelings. I guess it takes practice and we are just not used to identifying actions caused by feelings, but I need to get it out of them somehow to complete the model hehe. When I ask “When you feel [emotion], what do you do or what don’t you do?” they usually just say “I don’t do anything, I just think it” or “I do nothing”. And I can ask “What does that look like?” but I find that those questions don’t work as well on “Model-beginners” as on Scholars who know the process of the Model.
So: Are there any other questions or ways of phrasing the questions I can use to get people to really tune into what actions their feelings cause?
