I struggle with the cycle of quitting, restarting and procrastination as you mentioned in the How To Feel Better video. Because I’ve struggled with this for so long, I always fear that I’ll never reach my full potential and it’s hard to get excited when I accomplish something because I fear that I’ll just quit before a reach my ultimate goal for that specific project.
You mentioned that if I constrain and simplify my life / manage my mind better I can better control my feelings of overwhelm and end the cycle of quitting, restarting and procrastination. What exercise or action do you suggest I do/take when I’m in the moment of feeling overwhelm so that I can fight the temptation to give in to the dreaded cycle of quitting, restarting and procrastination?
