Sorry to jump on the back of someone else’s question, but I was just reading from the lady who is sad about her baby’s gender and your response, and I’m really confused. If it isn’t the job of the model to lessen the sadness, then how does the model work re. helping you feel what you want to feel? I guess she’d like to feel less guilty AND less sad. How do you know which feelings you’re “meant” to feel in life and which you can and are right to change? I get jealous a lot – the thought of just feeling my jealousy and doing nothing to address the thoughts that bring it on (which are all nonsense, to be honest, nonsense thoughts when I get aware) makes me feel rather……..hopeless. And like I’m going to lose a lot of friends! Can you help me understand all this? Thank you!
