Hi Brooke, We were recently told that our 9 year old son is in danger of becoming a “school refuser”. He doesn’t like
school and we have trouble getting him there. Teacher’s say he’s bright, friendly and well behaved. But from his perspective the schoolwork is boring & his peers immature, while he’s also overwhelmed by the noise and chaos (he’d much rather listen to your podcast and think about how to be an entrepreneur 😉 It doesn’t help that I’m conflicted and not convinced the school system is working for him. I consider switching schools or homeschool. I was thinking about your concept of “loving the job you’re in” before taking the decision to switch – but I’m not sure I can get him to love it. Do you have any thoughts on what I could do to help him?
