Thank you so much for the coaching sessions you are providing. The coaches are helping me to realise how I’ve been resisting negative emotion. Today I found myself thinking ‘I’m having a bad day’ then I noticed how I was resisting or trying to suppress that thought. I think ‘that is a thought, stop thinking that!’ But its still there in the background and I feel fuzzy headed and frustrated and want to buffer.
So eventually I realised I need to allow that emotion to be there.
Now I see I’ve been trying to force all positive emotion and beating myself up whenever I have negative thoughts.
It’s kind of confusing when I know that changing thoughts changes emotions but that I need to allow negative emotions too.
Am I on the right track though?
