Restrictive Calories vs. Protocol

Hi Brooke, I have a question on one of your comments you posted here that confused me.
What do you mean by “ongoing restrictive calories-aka Biggest Loser. This is not what we are recommending here.”
I know we are not counting calories, but I am eating a lot less food, and as a result taking in less calories. Which could be well under 1200 a day. How is this not a ongoing restrictive calories protocol?
