REWORKED MODELS FROM PAST MODELS SUBMITTED

I re-posted models that you gave me input on in the answer section. You said I had many thoughts going on in the models below. I reworked them into more models by individual thoughts. I’d appreciate you looking at my new models towards the bottom::
Thank you in advance x
ORIGINAL MODELS POSTED:

I’m trying to simplify models to better understand how to write them effectively
I’m trying to simplify my models because I find I’m trying to get too much thought into them and then I’m getting off track.

C: my 48 year old sister is financially dependent on our parents
T: If it weren’t for her selfishness my parents would not be strapped for money in their retirement
E- angry
A: asked and discussed with my sister how she plans to survive when they are gone, upset my parents with my anger over my sister, push my sister away as she tries to have a relationship with me, anger and guilt over what my role will be in her life when they are gone
R- my parents are strapped for money and my sister still doesn’t try to better her life

C- my 48 year old sister is financially dependent on our parents
T- I have not control over my sister or my parents life long enabling of my her
F- acceptance
A- stop being angry, attempt to allow my sister to get closer to me, not project the future
R- I have not control over others and projecting the future does not serve me now

Thanks Brooke

Answer:
The best way to keep your models simple is to limit yourself to ONE thought in the T line.

When you have more thoughts, take them out and start a new model.

In your two models, you actually have 5 models waiting to happen 😉

She’s selfish.

My parents are strapped for money in their retirement

It’s her fault.

I can’t control them.

My parents have enabled her all her life.

NEW MODELS ON ALL THESE HIDDEN THOUGHTS….

useless model:

C- My sister
T- She is selfish
E- anger
A- question her life and money all the time, complain to my other sister, act mean to her at times
R- she is still selfish and I’m still angry

useable

C- My sister
T- My sister has been this way her whole life and my actions aren’t changing her
E- acceptance
A- stop questioning her life and don’t look to argue with her about her life
R- I can’t change my sister

unusable

C- My parents’ are strapped for money in their retirement
T- my parents’ admit they are in this position because they have an continue to financially support her
F- frustrated
A- argue with them how they enable her and need to stop
R- parents continue to support her and I am still frustrated

useable

C- My parents are strapped for money in their retirement
T- I could not control their enabling of her and still can’t
F- acceptance
A- stop putting so much mental energy into this situation
R- There is nothing I can do to change them or the situation

unuseable

C- My sister does not financially support herself
T- It’s her fault she is in this predicament because she always made wrong choices
F- frustration
A- mean to here, no patience for her, pretend to get along with her but it feels fake, pick fights with her at times
R- she made wrong choices and that’s why she is dependent on my parents

useable

C- My sister doesn’t
t not financially support herself
T- I don’t want to be the one to support her when my parents are gone
F- Fear
A- continually worry about her and my future when my parents are gone, take my fear out on my sister, make comments Like,
“What do you think will happen to you when mom and dad are gone?”
R- I don’t have to support her and I don’t need to worry about it now. These thoughts get me nowhere because I have no control over her or my parents.
