Saying no to myself


I was just working on my Making Time podcast homework and realized the reason my calendar is so full is not so much because I am a people pleaser, but because I WANT to have a lot of experiences. So I say yes. Yes I want to go to that film, yes I want to discuss that book, yes, I’d love a coffee date, yes, let’s go dancing! Then I look at my upcoming week and think Wow, I’m really busy. So, do I say no to something I want to do? Limit how many “yes’s” in a week? I do love my adventures, but unsure how to balance them with my desire to work on myself and self care. Perhaps it is just setting parameters? Thanks! Rebecca
