Scale of 1-10, it varies based on situation. Just write multiple entries?


For today’s writing assignment, I went with my gut and said 7. But on further reflection realized that there are lots of times when I see myself as a 10 — while I’m working out, meditating, engaged with my kids, etc. — and just as many times when I see myself as a 3 (sometimes even lower) — when I’m short with my kids, or it’s been revealed that I’ve been selfish or out to lunch on something important. When I step back and see how miraculous life itself is, then I’d say I’m an unqualified 10 regardless. But it’s hard to stay grounded in that kind of a perspective. With so much variability in responses, how do you get the most value from this exercise?
