My goal is no flour no sugar except one exception meal a week. I am having issues with a scarcity mindset that I can “never have these foods” like ice cream, pizza, etc that are traditionally my favorite foods. Then I binge on them for more than just my exception meal which leads to more “F IT” moments which leads to then more binging on other foods which can continue over the weekend until I “start again on Monday.” What can I do to improve this mindset? I enjoy the taste of these foods which leads to thoughts that lead to desire and then the binging. When I feel like I can “never have them” because it will lead to weight gain it is not productive, but in reality I truly CANT have them if I want to get these last 10 lbs off so the thought I cannot have them or else I will gain weight is, in fact, true.
