I recently helped my mother to renew one of her permanent resident document.  I realized that there was one piece of information I missed to put in her application package because we tried to do it quickly.  It could be that the application gets returned or it could be processed accordingly as the website was not very clear about including this document.

Do you think I should let my mother know and rectify the situation or should I wait to see what happens?  I feel uneasy about it because although I am doing all the work, my mom will blame me severely if she is aware of the missing documentation and potentially having the application returned.  Please help me here.
