Scheduling Free Time


Hi Brooke-

When I set a goal, I tend to go all out until it’s done. In the past, this has led to burnout and resentment and less joy. Often it has felt like I was punishing myself. I know I need to give myself some breaks, but how do I know how much down time to give myself to recharge? Should I schedule specific activities- reading, yoga etc. or leave the time unstructured?

Also, I have discovered that I am terrible at estimating how much time things are going to take me to do them. I always make a huge list that is impossible to finish in a day and then I get down on myself for not having my own back and start avoiding my list. Do you have any ideas about how I can find some balance? Thanks!
