When a Circumstance arise that I deem “Bad,” my tendency is to either avoid it *or* to try to go too positive. I’m beginning to understand the need to acknowledge that sometimes I don’t like the way something turned out. But I’m not sure which thoughts are helpful to move process and move forward.
C: Two tenants didn’t pay rent this month (cost of $700 legal fees plus lost income)
T: This hurts or I don’t like this.
A: Have compassion for myself; feel the sensation; Don’t make it mean anything about me or my capabilities; Don’t avoid taking action.
R: Process the pain (?)
