Self Coaching on Fear

Hi Brooke,

I’m a fearful person in general (i.e.: I would never go skydiving, I don’t like driving fast, etc), because my thought around “adventurous” activities is – this is dangerous, I’m going to get hurt, etc. I realize that in theory, these activities are neutral and I am applying the danger to them. How do I discern what is actual danger v. just my irrational brain acting up? Should we all coach ourselves into skydiving or race car driving, or is there something to be said about obeying this nervous side of my brain? Thanks!
