Hi Brooke, I’m working on understanding and using the model daily. I have a second part-time job and yesterday was my first time waitressing ever. Even though internally I knew that, I still beat myself up for making mistakes. I am basically hard on myself in general. Here is my model I did last night:
C- (Would the word Self-Compassion work here?)
T- I’m not good at being compassionate with myself.
A- Beat myself up in my mind over and over again
R- Continue not being compassionate with myself
C- Self Compassion
T- I’m working on being more compassionate with myself and that’s okay.
A- Be compassionate with myself
R- Be compassionate toward to those around me
