self sabotage


I have self sabotaged my success with stopping overeating and keep spinning on ‘it’s too hard’. I feel disappointed in myself as I keep hitting re-start and can’t seem to get past this feeling. How can I re-start without spinning on this thought.

You get to choose what you think about it.

Your brain thinks something is hard. So what?

Are you willing to let that thought go and stop the suffering?

What’s hard is the way you treat yourself when you feel disappointed in yourself. There is no upside.

You can notice that thought and decide to take action anyway.

It’s possible that this isn’t as hard as I think.

I am willing to see what I am capable of.

Yesterday doesn’t matter. I have today. 

Nothing has gone wrong here.
