I just watched “Less Money – Spending for Entertainment” in your Money series. Great video with interesting insights.

I’m curious. What did you find were the best places to sell your stuff? Craig’s list, eBay, garage sales??

When I downsized and moved to Florida over a year ago, my house sold so quickly that I had very little time to sell things and ended up giving a lot of stuff away to charity. After watching the video, I realize there’s even more stuff that I could let go of, like good jewelry I never wear, pottery, art work, etc., but this time it would be nice to generate some income.

Would love to hear more about how you and your family handled selling everything (especially the household goods) when you spent the year traveling. Heck, I’d love to hear more about your adventures on the road too.
