Hello all and Happy September! Today is my birthday, but I’ve been so excited about my SCS work that I didn’t even give myself the day off! So, I’ve decided that my 30 Day Goal will be giving my very generic website a total, much-needed makeover, something I’ve been wanting to do for the past year but have been putting off while I indulged in I don’t know how, I’m technologically challenged, etc. I chose this goal because I thought it would help bolster my career (I’m a writer) while being a fun, creative project. Now that I’ve made that commitment, however, and I can’t go back according to page 7:), I’m feeling anxious about following through with it. Whenever I set goals, no matter what I do, I always feel like I’m not doing enough and not moving fast enough. Anyway, I decided to do an Unintentional and an Intentional Model to try and sort things out. Could you give me some feedback on where I may be lacking and how I can get rid of this very-long held belief that I’m never doing enough?
Unintentional Model:
C: revamping website
T: I lack knowledge and creativity to follow through on my goal
F: discouraged
A: inaction
R: website remains unchanged
Intentional Model:
C: revamping website
T: I can do anything I set my mind to while enjoying the creative process
F: excited
A: learn and have fun as I go along at my own pace
R: a revamped website
I really wished that Intentional Model was easier to believe!
Thanks for everything, you guys are awesome!!
Meg
