To answer your question, I want to shift from 5:2 to 8-hour because the convenience of two meals per day (every day) appeals to me, as does the convenience of eating the same dinner as my family. Right now, I make a separate dinner for myself twice a week (so I can stay within the 500 calories). 5:2 is working but I would like to see if 8-hour works for me too. I’m not making the shift to speed up results or anything like that. I am confident that the last three will come off. And I could stay with 5:2–there’s no urgency–but I’d like to try 8-hour.
