Showing emotions


Hi Coaches,

I’ve made progress on being able to identify my emotions and being able to talk about them with others, but I have a lot of mind drama about showing emotions to other people (allowing someone to see the moments of complexity/messiness).

I’d like to work on that, but I’m struggling to find the thought.

I’d appreciate your input. Thanks!

My unintentional model looks like this:
C: An emotion came up. Partner said “I want to hold space for you.”
T:
F: Fear
A: Process in private.
R: Not creating the trust and intimacy I want.
