Sitting in Thoughts


Hello –

So I do the UM model and notice that I always want to move right into the IM to get past the bad feelings in the UM – I am typically a do-er and like to move forward quickly. I am learning from Scholars that it is important to sit in the UM and say, so what? From there once I get peace with the UM I can move on to creating an IM is that correct?
If so – my question is how do I get peace with the negative thought in the UM. How do I sit with it?
Is it that I just think about it and what it means? Does this take a few min or a few days?
Or are there steps in sitting with the UM that you recommend?
