Sometimes I have a hard time falling asleep. Sleep is very important to me. If I do not get enough sleep, I feel crappy the next day.
Here is my UM:
Thought: Sleep is important. If I do not sleep, I feel bad.
Feeling: Anxiety, rising into Panic, if I do not fall asleep (which obviously keeps me from falling asleep)
Action: I do not sleep
Result: I feel lousy the next day.
Can you help me with my Intention Model?
Thought: I am getting just as much sleep as I need (Problem: I cannot believe the thought).
Action: I fall asleep
Resultat: I feel well the next day.
Maybe you can help me with a bridge thought, that is more believable for me? The thing is, I just don´t believe, that I am getting the exact amount of sleep that I need.
