Someone I got to know online asked me why one lady reached out to her via social media to get her to do something. She didn’t specifically say that I shared her information (which I did not) but it is obvious that she was asking this question because she was suspecting I might carelessly give out her information. I don’t know why but I feel offended because I thought that our friendships/ relationships have gone past it and she should not have thought that I shared her information. Most importantly, I am not sure why she reached out to me first to ask this question. Did I come off as someone who is not trustworthy? That’s alarming to me.

I told her that I absolutely did not share her information and this may have made her uncomfortable. What’s your thoughts on this? Thanks!
