I seem to have a lot of “shouldn’t” thoughts for how my son should behave. He’s almost 8 years old and still uses “potty” words and it is so annoying to me.

I’ve done a model on this:

C-son says words
T-He shouldn’t say potty words
F-Frustrated
A-Tell him to stop; yell at him I stop; threaten him that I’ll take away stuff if he doesn’t stop; tell him he’s acting like a 3 year old; feel my body tense up
R-I get angry and he continues to say potty words

Does this result make sense? Also, can you help me to find thoughts that would give me a result of ignoring him?
