Soothing a busy mind

I often wake up in the middle of the night or wee hours of the morning and before I can roll over and go back to sleep, my mind starts spinning and running through to dos, conversations that need to be had, things that were missed, things that should’ve been said during a meeting, etc. I’m looking for a good strategy to help my mind go back to sleep so I’m not dragging the next morning because it kept me awake.
