Starvation Mode


Hi Brooke,

Can you please elaborate on how if we fast for several hours and avoid snacking that our body will not go into Starvation mode? I always understood it as if we don’t eat every 2 hours then our body will really hold onto our meal as if “help, she’s not feeding us for a while, let’s not burn these calories just yet”. I take anti-depressants and it says it can give me a slow metabolism so I am just worried about this.
