Staying in the unintentional model

I recently find myself with questions about staying in and/or exploring the unintentional model. I understand we do this to find awareness and without that awareness any intentional model that we try to go into may not stick. My questions: What information am I looking for? What am I hoping to become aware of?

I’ll answer my own question; that is the rule, isn’t it? 🙂
– Where did this thought come from? Did I learn to think this way from someone?
– In what way does my brain think this is useful?
– Looking for patterns or beliefs
– Looking for the core thought. Kind of like treating the disease and not the symptoms.

I would appreciate any thoughts on my answer and any additional ideas you can share. Maybe some questions to use to help explore and find awareness.
