Stop buffering

Hi! I am working on stopping buffering (with chocolate and alcohol mainly) and I wonder if I have to give up on the pleasure at all to be successful ? For example, can I have one glass of wine once in a while or some chocolate ? But at the same time, still wanting to have some, even in a moderate way, makes me still want to have some pleasures that makes me happy instead on being happy on my own! Thanks for your help
