I think I finally understand something that has bothered me for years! Every holiday that I have been on some diet, I have made it through the day without overeating. But then, the next day or two, I find myself eating everything in sight.
After watching the last caller on the Stop Overeating Quick Start Call #3, I now see that I was Resisting my urges instead of Allowing them, and that was only making that desire bigger until it became overwhelming.
It sounds like until I can truly be indifferent to these foods, I will have to allow the urges and not resist them, then I won’t have such a big problem of the rebound desire the next day.
Do I understand that correctly?
