Stressful clients

Hello! With the holidays approaching I regularly experience extremely rude and disrespectful clients. I am a veterinarian, and in the last week have had 3 clients who said extremely hurtful things to me/about me. Obviously, I think I work hard at my job and try to make everyone happy and healthy. I have many clients who love me and really make me feel like I’m making a difference, which helps. However, when this happens I usually go into a tailspin of negative emotions. How can I stop feeling this way? I know for certain a lot of the time it is not actually me they are upset with, many times its about money – which I have no control over. It’s been a lot this week and I’m trying to stay positive!!! Thank you!
