I loved the Study Hall Q&A this month with Krista, especially the part about wanting to feel nervous because it’s a sign of growth. I’m wondering about using overwhelm or worry or other indulgent emotions as a sign. I find thoughts like “I need to do more/I’m not doing enough” or “I have to figure this all out”, usually followed by now and/or perfectly, can lead to mental spin outs and overwhelm. I get stuck in my head and can’t get moving. I’m thinking that when I start to indulge and the wheels start spinning, I should take that as a sign to focus on one very specific thing I can do or figure out or decide. Is that a plan NOT to indulge in an emotion? Or would I still be indulging? Or would that be allowing? Thanks much!
