I have worked in the same industry for 20+ years.  I recently got a new job in the same industry but at a company I thought was much better. I was wrong.  The entire time I’ve worked there I’ve hated it and the toxic environment.  Anyway, I was unsurprisingly fired last week.

I work with a coach and she’s asking me what I want to do, and all I know is that I want a good paying job.  At this point I know I don’t like the industry, but nothing I actually WANT to do pays any money.  I’m almost 50, I feel totally pigeon holed.  I know that ‘nothing I actually want to do pays any money’ is a thought.  I know that. But it feels SO true.  I’m not even sure where to go from here.
