switching models on the fly

Hi Coaches, I am noticing that I am switching models on the fly. I am able to catch myself in the moment and allow my future self to help me with responses. I always go back and finish the unintentional model on paper and see that, yes indeed, those are my old habits. I am wondering if this practice of going back and playing it out is okay for the brain. Does that continue strengthening the old pathways? I have included 2 models below, I stopped myself in the actions of the unintentional and am now practicing the A’s in the intentional. Would love your insight on this.

UNINTENTIONAL
C: Client said “can we hold off on the project, i may have found another solution that will save me time and money”
T: My piece isn’t good enough
F: insecure
A: take it personally
– tell myself I should have spent more time on it
– pick apart my own work
– don’t reach out and ask how i can help
– don’t finish the piece
– blame her for my feelings
– criticize her for changing her mind
R: I am not good enough for me

INTENTIONAL
C: Client said “can we hold off on the project, i may have found another solution that will save me time and money”
T: I wonder how I can create a solution for her that will be more valuable
F: curious
A: let my brain go to work on the ways I can provide more value
– ask her how I can help her
– scheduled time to brainstorm
R: I gain a better understanding of how I can serve my clients

Thank you very much for your time!
