T or C?

Some clients of mine talk about their physical symptoms, like indigestion:
C – dietetician: “eat raw carrots”
T – I don’t want to eat them because I get indigestion if I do so.
F – unwilling
A – I don’t eat raw carrots.
R – I don’t get indigestion.
It sounds very real to them but I was wondering if it was a T or a C. Or could it be a C (mild indigestion) that becomes a T (I’m going to get indigestion)?
In the meantime, they don’t reach their goals of getting healthier.
So, is that a fact or a story?
