Teaching videos in preparation for coaching sessions

I am finding that in my coaching sessions around the program I’ve created, I spend a significant amount of time teaching concepts and mindset basics, which leaves a lot less time for the “meat” of coaching. I end up wondering if I’ve talked too much, overwhelmed them, etc. I much prefer the sessions when we’re actually applying concepts to their own real-life situations.

I’ve had the idea that I could record myself teaching the building blocks of my program, and give my clients access to the videos to watch in preparation for each session, so we can get to the good stuff quicker.

Is this something that is commonly done? Any thought or advice on this?

Thank you!
