The 50/50 thing


Hi Brooke,

I was listening to your podcast about how most of your thoughts were negative when you started noticing them. Then I thought while listening to this, well if that’s the case (for you and others) then thanks to my understanding of the model, most of our emotions/feelings will, therefore, be negative.

So by you saying that life “should” be 50/50 positive and negative emotions, does that mean that we’re trying to switch our thinking from 90% negative down to 50% negative?
