The Work, Working


I had been struggling with The Model until I read the first chapter of Self Coaching 101and everything fell into place. The last 48 hours my body was been tight with anxiety after losing a client last minute. I knew this was a circumstance and feeling for the work:

Unintentional Thought Pattern

Circumstance: Not employed full-time
Thought: Worried about running out of money
Feeling: scared, insecure, anxious, unhappy
Action: Don’t take action to make more money, buffer with exercise + eating + reading
Result: Don’t make more money

Intentional Thought Pattern

Circumstance: Not employed full-time
Thought: Excited about running out of money (open for new clients + opportunities)
Feeling: Open, curious, resourceful, excited
Action: Finish up client work, apply to new positions + reach out to contacts
Result: Make more money (by finishing up my client work) and open myself up to new opportunities

I wrote this out in less than five minutes, and immediately started sobbing happy tears. Thank you for opening the door to freedom with your first chapter of SC 101. I can’t wait to begin Scholars on 12.01!
