Thought Ladder

When working on breaking down a belief, is the model the best tool? I am working on an intentional model and I am unsure if I should start with the nearest thought or the ultimate goal thought or do both.

C: Impossible Goal of initiate 12 social occasions this year
T: I’m defective
F: Dejected
A: Buffer with sleep, internet, food, soda; hide away, avoid social occasions, do not initiate social occasions
R: My life seems fundamentally broken.

I’m defective
I’m socially anxious, so what?
I can be social at times
I can choose to be social at times.
I can choose to initiate social occasions.

How to I best move down the ladder to the thoughts I want to have?
