Thoughts to think when I have failed in taking Action


Brooke talks about failing at the Results level but not failing in the taking of the Action. (i.e. I will eat on protocol without fail).

So what to Think/Do when that is precisely what I have done? How can I feel the reality of being disappointed in my Actions without dragging myself down permanently?

Sample UM:
C: Ate differently than I had previously decided to.
T: I’m so disappointed in myself
F: Shame
A: Eat more, give up; make it mean I’m going to repeat history; avoid negative feelings; buffer in internet
R: Increasingly disappointed in myself

Sample IM:
C: Ate differently than I had previously decided to.
T: “I didn’t eat on protocol and I am not going to give up on myself.” OR “I didn’t eat on protocol for 3 days and I my worthiness is unchanged.” (Any better suggestions..?)
F: Love
A: Plan meals; shop; journal to help buffering; check in with myself;
R: Eat what I decide in advance
