Hi Brooke!
Ever since I’ve understood I could allocate a specific time to any question or topic I wanted to tackle, I’ve been amazingly productive! So today I had scheduled to ask questions to a colleague about creating a firm in France, which I know nothing of. I had the opportunity to do it this morning but I didn’t. So over lunch, I did several models.
C – firms
T – I don’t know anything about them.
F – embarrassed
A – I don’t ask questions.
R – I don’t have any answers to my questions.
and
T – Is my project ridiculous? Am I ridiculous?
F – vulnerable
A – I don’t do anything.
R – My project doesn’t come true (which is ridiculous because I believe it’s great).
So I came up with intentional models:
T – My project is fantastic!
F – confident, excited
A – I ask the right questions.
R – My project gets started.
and
T – I’m going to help people who need me.
F – useful
A – I ask the right questions.
R – My project gets started.
and here’s the one I liked best and I chose to keep in mind (and it worked because this afternoon I asked my questions and got answers):
T – I have so many things to learn!
F – curious
A – I ask the right questions.
R – My project gets started.
I’d like to know if I did that right. Thank you and have a great day!
Super-productive Nan
