Trouble finding a new believable thought


My repeating thought is – my husband is difficult to communicate with. So the current model is :

C – my husband & I have a conversation.
T – my husband is difficult to communicate with.
F – frustrated
A – I respond to him with short, irritated words.
R – he gets angry and talking is difficult .

In my mind, my husband being difficult to communicate with is true to the point of it being a belief. How can I uncover a new thought so that our communication flows easier?
