Trouble sticking to my breakfast protocol


In the mornings, I like to have bread (and occasionally a sweet) and coffee which is comforting and a craving as well, but my personal protocol is a smoothie so that I may introduce something healthy for my first meal of the day. When I have the smoothie first, I feel deprived of the enjoyment of the bread or sweet. When I don’t have the smoothie first, I tell myself it’s no biggie, I will have it later. But then I have a sense of regret that I missed an opportunity to better nurture my body. How do I go about creating a better habit?
