Trusting my ideas

Something I’ve been struggling with lately is trusting my own ideas when it comes to my business. When someone with a more successful business gives me advice, it’s easy for me to act on their advice and implement tasks. And even though I know it’s good to take advice from more successful people, I’m trying to balance that with taking my own advice and trusting my own gut on certain things.
I find myself asking for input on certain ideas I have or talking myself out of the ideas if I haven’t seen it done before. I know I have some “how greed” that was explained in the podcast.
But how do I balance the “someone telling me how” vs. “me figuring out how”?
