I joined in January for overdrinking. I confess for part of the time I have been a consumer-not consistently doing the work, but working more in the last few weeks. For years I have been overdrinking -at least 4-5 glasses of wine most nights. I came up with a protocol of 3 glasses per night and in the last month have done ok-maybe too much once a week. I also take naltrexone 1 hour before. I have learned that overdrinking is often precipitated with aggravation over an event on that day-which at least I am seeing now. I also want to lose 20 lbs by my 60th birthday, July 9 so around 1-2 lbs per week. This seems like a reasonable goal but I am getting nowhere. I have tried cutting out flour and sugar, and fasting from 7 pm until 10 am. I have been able to do this about 75% of the time, but some “grab ass” still is interfering. Overdrinking is my most urgent goal but weight loss is a very close second. Am I trying to do too much at once? Or not enough?
